Office Manager
Melissa is the Office Manager at Kurtz & Blum, and she brings a strong work ethic and an unusually varied background to the role. She started working at 16 at PetSmart before joining Costco, where she stayed for just about 15 years and built a reputation for team leadership, organization, and a real sense of what good customer service looks like.
In April 2022, Melissa decided it was time for something new. She left retail and moved into behavioral health, first as a Registered Behavioral Technician and later as an Eating Disorder Supervisor, before finding her way to Kurtz & Blum.
Originally from New York, Melissa moved to North Carolina in 2002 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNC Wilmington.
Outside of work, Melissa is a fierce advocate for the people and causes she cares about. She loves live music, keeping her nails freshly done, spending time with friends, and making memories with her brothers and her dogs.
