Civil Attorney | Family Law & Domestic Violence
Fluent in Spanish, Rudy focuses on representing Spanish-speaking clients in family law and domestic violence cases. His background in the North Carolina National Guard and legal aid work proves his dedication to serving diverse communities.
During law school, Rudy assisted with the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic, helping indigent clients who otherwise couldn’t afford legal representation. He also gained hands-on experience as a law clerk and legal intern at two Triangle-area law firms, focusing on family law and domestic violence cases, including DVPO hearings and criminal cases involving domestic violence.
He takes pride in ensuring that non-English-speaking clients have access to quality legal representation and understand their rights in family law matters. Rudy’s passion for justice extends beyond the courtroom, as he actively participates in Hispanic legal initiatives and community outreach programs. He is committed to making the legal system more accessible and equitable for those who may otherwise face language and cultural barriers when seeking legal assistance.
Rudy enjoys quiet afternoons with his dog, Ke’Le, visiting museums, and immersing himself in a good book.
